Following her horticulture certification through the UBC Botanical Garden, Sunya interned in the Heem Parks of Amstelveen in the Netherlands, where her affinity for naturalistic gardens could be developed into an expertise. There she learned to start with a vision of a garden, then work with patience and commitment to nurture that picture into being. Sunya began offering design & maintenance services on the south coast of British Columbia in 2018. She has worked with custom home builders, landscape designers, and residential clients to bring a naturalistic element to the west coast garden aesthetic.
